Tarifa is a unique and traditional fishing village and the southernmost village of the Spanish peninsula as well as the European continent. It is known for its diversity of outdoor sports possibilities which makes it one of Andalucia's most popular destinations for kitesurfers, windsurfers, climbers and mountainbikers. Situated on the Strait of Gibraltar with only 14 km to Africa it offers spectacular views of our neighbouring continent and its rocky summits of the Moroccan Rif mountains.
The Costa de la Luz (coast of the light) is famous for its beautiful light and offers over 300 sunny days a year. Easy accessibilty from most of Europe's main cities make Tarifa attractive for productions and shootings. The area is distinguished by a diversity of landscapes with white sandy beaches, blue waters, big sand dunes, light pine tree forests, sandstone valleys and Europe's largest and last Mediterranean cork oak forest, the Parque de los Alcornocales.
We can provide photographers and production companies with our insider knowledge of the area and sports facilities.
